Sunfarm Solar

After experiencing months of frustrating utility nuisance trips and underperforming inverter output at our Hinsdale, MA, solar site, I reached out to the engineers at RLC Engineering. I needed an engineering firm that was not only familiar with the proper design of a photovoltaic system but also one that had experience working with electric utility companies. RLC Engineering quickly uncovered design errors that were causing our inverters to malfunction and worked directly with the utility company to substantially reduce having our PV system offline. RLC Engineering continues to provide support to AP&E for several of our large-scale solar PV sites.

Our corporate office, located in Hallowell, opened in 2006. The space encompasses an industrial edge with ergonomically crafted work areas. Just around the corner are some of the area’s best restaurants and hiking trails, as well as beautiful architecture and charming shops.

South Portland

Our South Portland office opened in 2023 and is located in the heart of South Portland, Maine’s thriving business community. This contemporary office features state-of-the-art facilities and a modern, open design that fosters collaboration and innovation. The city boasts breathtaking views of Portland Harbor and is home to many restaurants, beautiful ocean views, bookstores, and museums, offering something for everyone.

Bangor

Our Bangor office opened in 2023 and is situated in the charming downtown area. The office is designed to encourage teamwork and creativity. Nearby are several top-tier universities, a thriving arts and culture scene, as well as plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities for employees to enjoy.
