RLC Engineering is seeking a Protection & Controls (P&C) Designer to join their team of professionals. The Designer will work with RLC’s team to develop design construction packages for protective relaying and control systems. The designer will prepare Electrical Schematic Diagrams, Front View Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Bill of Materials, and Cable Schedules by working with a Lead Engineer.

General Description of Position:

RLC is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the growing civil/structural engineering team. This position will entail work on a variety of electric power projects including wind and solar generation plants, battery storage facilities, and substations. This individual must be self-motivated and eager to support the growth and development of the civil/structural engineering team, primarily in the renewable energy market. RLC seeks a Senior Level Protection Engineer who will serve as the department’s technical advisor and mentor for other Protection Engineers within the group. The incumbent must be well versed in the Transmission and Distribution protection schemes implemented by the Major New England Utilities.

  • A Graduate of a four-year College or University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience focused on the development of protection philosophies, modeling of transmission/distribution systems and relay settings development.

General Description of Position:

RLC is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer to join the growing transmission engineering team. This position will entail working in a staff support role for utilities in the New England region. This individual must be self-motivated and eager to support the growth and development of the transmission engineering team. Depending on the team member’s location, this individual will report to either RLC’s Hallowell or Falmouth office, or may work remotely but most be located in New England.
