RLC reviewed and ensured the accuracy and completeness of approximately 3,000 record drawings for numerous substations by providing P&C drafting and document control support. The client’s Design Packages were outdated or back-logged and needed to be closed out. This effort entailed incorporating existing field markups to as-built CAD conditions per the client’s substation drawing control requirements. All record drawings were reviewed to ensure the client received a complete Design Package drawing including all Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and field markings in sequential order.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • RLC reviewed the provided station’s Design Packages including any ECNs.
  • Each Design Package was compared in sequential order to each other, which ensured that only the most recent version of the dwg was modified.
  • Upon completion of the review, RLC incorporated any construction field pdf marks into the dwg document.
  • The drawings were also compared with the provided document control set of the substation to identify the most current and complete.
  • RLC provided a list of errors/omissions by drawing for review by the client.
