The 2024 Asset Condition Replacement project focused on upgrading aging infrastructure to enhance grid reliability and meet increasing energy demands. Leveraging our extensive expertise in transmission line design and engineering, we delivered innovative solutions that ensured the project’s successful completion.

Throughout the project, our team conducted thorough on-site evaluations and provided detailed construction packages, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage. Beyond addressing immediate needs, our team developed conceptual designs for future transmission line rebuild projects, further strengthening the utility’s infrastructure for long-term resilience.

Scope of Services

• Delivered fully engineered construction documents for 8 transmission lines (115kV and 345kV).
• Designed 354 structure replacements
• Analyzed over 157 miles of transmission line to ensure system reliability
• Created conceptual designs for 2 additional transmission lines, covering 142 structures and 30 miles of line, setting the foundation for future rebuild efforts
• Performed on-site evaluations of each structure replacement location to ensure accuracy and feasibility
• Engineered innovative solutions tailored to meet both immediate project needs and long-term infrastructure goals
• Provided strategies to enhance grid reliability and reduce long-term maintenance requirements
