Project Details

RLC has recently supported multiple clients by developing routing drawings to accompany their permitting submittals. These drawings are prepared to clearly communicate the proposed alignments and to streamline the review process with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

As part of this effort, RLC evaluates the feasibility of both overhead and underground conductor options, and when appropriate, recommends a hybrid approach that strategically incorporates both systems. Each routing alternative is carefully assessed to ensure it aligns with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term operational performance.

During the route development process, RLC considers a wide range of factors, including environmental constraints, existing infrastructure, constructability, right-of-way limitations, permitting complexity, and overall project cost. By taking a comprehensive and methodical approach, RLC is able to provide clients with practical, cost-effective routing solutions that balance technical performance with environmental and community considerations.
